Hammonds played the same way in the LIT, as well. I just have trouble seeing him as a Division I shooting guard, unless he slims down and gets a little quicker.

I would be shocked if Murray is recruiting him.

He may have to play the small forward position. He is 6'5", which is bigger than UK's starting small forward.

Anyone know what Lynn Camp/Elkhorn looked like?

If I were coaching Russell I would demand that Vanhoose take 25 to 30 shots a game.

Sayre 47, Garrard County 34

Still don't know that he would have the mobility for that position.

I do not think the whole team shoots that many each game

I will agree with you on Hammonds. I only got to see him play in the state tourney last year and was impressed with his size and athleticism. He didnt standout in my eyes though and probably because he didnt get the touches. He needs to pick up a step if he wants to play the 2 or 3 in Div 1. I see him going somewhere like EKU or Morehead St..... Trey Smith was impressive, if he packs on a little more weight.. he can be a diamond in the rough with his ability to run the floor, block shots, play defense and shoot the three.

Buckhorn beat Lynn Camp by about 20 I think.
