June 29, 20197 yr That was amazing. I can't believe Baez was able to even get the bat on that ball, let alone hit it out of the park. Hughes comes in to face Baez after Duke and Hernandez loaded the bases, throws a ball that was outside and may have hit the dirt before it got to the catcher. Baez hits it out of the park to right field. 5-0 Cubs in the 8th.
June 30, 20197 yr I am not sure he will get past Larkin. If he plays out his contract he’d have to average a 134 hits per season. If the Reds pick up his option for the 5th year, he’d have to average 107 hits per season. That’s if his season ended today but he should get about 60 to 70 more hits this season. June 30, 20197 yr Stupid hot down there today. Probably set a new personal record on water sales and I've had a lot of games where I've sold a ton of water. Still held it down on beer sales too. Got another big one tomorrow, hopefully the Reds play more like Friday for it.

Horrible decision by Bell to hit for Disco, I know what he was trying to do...but Disco was great today. Luckily Puig and the boys saved Bell's hind end today.
June 30, 20197 yr Reds add on 4 in the bottom of the 8th, all 4 runs scoring with two outs. Now lead 8-3. A beautiful sight. They show the stands after the Reds score those 4 runs and the Cubs fans were heading for the exits in droves, with Reds fans waving goodbye to them.
