I have two brothers and a sister in law who are architects. They complain a LOT about the fact that How I Met Your Mother somehow managed to create an influx of architecture students in the world because of Ted Mosby.

Nahhhh, they were influenced by my dad, who's an engineer/designer.

Kind of like The Big Bang Theory spurred interest in STEM.

I have a passion for animals, so veterinarian.

 

I chose the first path, but things don't always work out like you plan.
