Open Job: Holmes

I have no idea if she would get it, but someone who already is in the building that was an assistant for them this year is Alissa Brown. She played in college, and is a very good up and coming coach. She would do a good job for the program.

Yikes. I had no idea that my fairly non-substantive comment was going to upset people so much. I apologize -- didn't mean to frustrate anyone.

It’s just annoying because this comment pops up on every job opening and to me if you can’t say who got the job or who’s interviewed then why even bring it up?

I need to read through the rules again!

In all honesty I struggle with this one too sometimes. It’s hard to tell the difference between disagreeing with somebody’s post and criticizing the manner in which they post.

I agree with this. If you can't post something of substance beyond I know who it is or who interviewed, then don't bother to post. I am ok with posting that interviews are taking place. Just don't bother to go on to say I know something you don't know about who it is unless you can add information that is of value in who it actually is.

Well sometimes I do this, but usually when I do I offer to tell in a private message If someone cares enough to PM me.

Any word on this one?

Assistant Coach Brown, she was JV coach last year, she played basketball at Kentucky State I believe. Wish her the best.

She finished out last year as the Head Coach when the previous coach was let go during the season. She is younger and relates better to the girls in the program. Wish her nothing but success.
