Open Job: Holmes

I Understand that Holmes is doing interviews this week.

I have a pretty good idea of who the frontrunner is but dont know if it's my place to say. Let's just say if he gets it, you already know his name.

That narrows it down to about 100 possibilities.

Lol ok, let's just say if it's who I think it'll be, Holmes will be getting a very experienced, accomplished Head Coach from the area.

If it’s who I have heard, I don’t think he will have success in Covington.

LOL this legitimately made me laugh out loud. Let me ask this... What TYPE of coach do YOU think would be successful in this job?

A coach that can recruit kids to go to Holmes.

Holmes girls program has had much success 4 out of the last 5 years, they are in a down cycle but will be back in a few years. A lot of talent has graduated the last few years. Good luck to the new coach.

True, and true. People on here often know more than they feel they can share. A lot of times you can't share because you have information you consider confidential, or you don't want to share because of your relationship with the person who shared the info.

OR..... You're full of crap and just want to make it sound like you know. If you really know BUT know you cant or don't want to tell then why say anything?

So true- why does everyone feel they have to have a leg up on the info? and let everyone else know about it?

I agree with this. If you can't post something of substance beyond I know who it is or who interviewed, then don't bother to post. I am ok with posting that interviews are taking place. Just don't bother to go on to say I know something you don't know about who it is unless you can add information that is of value in who it actually is.

Yikes. I had no idea that my fairly non-substantive comment was going to upset people so much. I apologize -- didn't mean to frustrate anyone.
