Laker's remain at #8. Laker's are 3-1 into a 13 of 14 game stretch at the Staples center. Very important to capitalize early on this.
November 21, 200619 yr Nate's block was sick. Emeka Okafor is playing like a beast right now. If he stays healthy he will have some ridiculous numbers. I agree, the talent in the NBA is definitely moving up. Let haters hate. They dont know what they are missing assuming the NBA is still the game it was in the late 90's early 2000's. Utah being able to do what they are doing with little to no help from Kirilenko is pretty wild to me. I would have thought as he goes they go but Williams is twice the player he was last year. Lakers are looking pretty good and are starting to get healthy as they just got Kwame back and Kobe is still mending. Bynum will be a beast. Heat and Suns have struggled but I believe both will turn it around.

November 21, 200619 yr Utah was on the brink of being in the playoffs last season and just BARELY missed out, so I'm not too surprised by their success... The fact that they're #1 in the power rankings is a LITTLE surprising though... Not that I can think of anyone else that's really more deserving.
November 21, 200619 yr Im not bashing your thread, but I think the NBA would be much more excititng if some teams would play defense. Maybe its because the offense is so good. But if the whole team played full effort on D instead of just trying to be a hot head the NBA would be alot more exciting.

I absolutely HATED watching those Knicks/Pistons/Heat games that were 68-64 and everybody that tried to get near the paint got mauled.

Boozer gettin 23 and 12 rebounds... Okur gettin 17 and 9 rebounds... Kirilenko isn't even doing much this season ,and is actually injured at the present time.
