It's not that I'm defending Wisconsin. It's that if you want to open up debate about weak schedules, be prepared to do so for the other side. They did one up the Badgers with USC, but also had La Tech, Nicholls St and Troy. Add in the SOFT Big 12 North, and I'm not that impressed with the Huskers resume. I know FOR SURE Nebraska is an average team...

Was thinking the exact same thing. Who have they played this year? Can't help the schedule. I'll agree that UW probably wouldn't have beaten OSU, but Nebraska didn't play OU and lost the only 2/3 games they played against ranked opponents, with the one win being a highly overrated Texas A&M squad.

Their win at A&M is better than anything on Wisconsin's resume'. Nebraska gets a shot to revenge that heart-breaking loss to Texas, if they do, this conversation will be moot. If they don't, you'll be in the majority that find a 4 loss NU team "aveage." Fair enough.

 

Their win over Mizzou, who was rocketing up the charts at one point, is worth mentioning as well.

 

Their loss to USC was awful -- no argument. Their loss to Oklahoma St. in Stillwater was a let-down, and an embarrassing piece of this campaign. You can't lay an egg in a Conference road game...and they did.

Wasn't aware that they lost to a 2 loss Texas. I'm 100% positive that they had only lost once when they played. But if 2 losses makes Texas look bad, then what happens WHEN ND loses to USC? That gives ND 2 loses and makes UM's win over them a fluke as well. Is that what you're saying? Not to mention that ND plays Army, Navy, Air Force, Stanford, UCLA, plus should've gotten crushed by MSU. ND has struggled against most of those teams and you're proud that your team beat them? Since ND is a "nothing" game according to your rating system, that gives UM only 1 game against a good team, and they lost it.

First of all how can you justify saying MSU should have crushed ND? They had their chance to and let it go. In your theory you say say ND should have crushed MSU, because of how they dominated the game at the end, if they just didnt suck to start the game they would have dominated it. So your little thing saying MSU should have whopped ND is wrong. And you let you hatred of ND bias blind you of that fact...

 

What are you talking about with GT always taking the teams with the most wins? Some of his teams are the Reds and UC in bball and well I dont think anyone of those teams have had many wins the last few years in there sports. So how does he always take the teams that win? I know GT probably will respond back to that on his own, but I just thought I would say something too because you are completely off in this case...
