What are you talking about with GT always taking the teams with the most wins? Some of his teams are the Reds and UC in bball and well I dont think anyone of those teams have had many wins the last few years in there sports. So how does he always take the teams that win? I know GT probably will respond back to that on his own, but I just thought I would say something too because you are completely off in this case... So to add to that thing at the end when you said you could be wrong but you are not...Well Im sorry to tell you this but you are WRONG!!! I made a little joke at UK's expense in the prediction thread. Since I wasn't going to talk about the game, I said that because it was so important to some on here in basketball, it had to mean something in football. November 21, 200619 yr Just wanted to point out if we had a 4-team playoff as some had suggested, we would be discussing the unfairness of leaving one of the following out....Michigan, Notre Dame, Florida, USC along with Ohio State being in the playoffs. Along with the discussion of shouldn't WVU/UL, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Boise State and Texas be in too. USC and Notre Dame play, one loses and is out of the discussion.

First, if MSU is ahead 31-14 at halftime against ND, a descent team would've finished them off in the second half. MSU finished 4-8, so it's not like they're a powerhouse team. ND should've been the team ahead by that score. Fine, so they had a bad game. But they also had a bad game against Georgia Tech and UCLA, and played pretty much a bunch of nobodies after that. Maybe MSU should've crushed them was a bit much, but most teams would've finished them off. Now, as far as GT always taking the team with the most wins, I'm just quoting what he said. If you go back to the pre-OSU/UM game he said the EXACT same thing. His statement was "always go with the team with the most wins. At least that's what they say in basketball." So get off my case about who he likes. I could care less. He likes UM. I know that. But he really hasn't made much of a valid point IMO, other than they lost by 3 to OSU.
November 21, 200619 yr You bring up Arkansas without McFadden, but I mean UM's other win against a top 10 BCS team in Wisconsin is a team that hasn't play anybody and didn't even play OSU. So if they had played OSU and most likely lost then they wouldn't be in the top 10 in the BCS and probably be around Cal in the rankings. Also if McFadden plays then yeah if definitely is alot closer game because he is that offense, but with the way USC won it would be hard to say USC still wouldn't have won that game if Arkansas had McFadden or not. And I dont think the Big 11 is any better than the Pac 10. So lets say we will just call the conferences even then. But USC would have if they win out, a win over the same ND team that UM beat, but also wins against Arkansas and Nebraska. I know USC lost to a not so good Oregon State team, so lets say that cancels out the win against a good Arkansas team. But the win over Nebraska is still one more better win that UM has had this year. Then take into account the wins USC will end their year on if they win out, then I think IMO you HAVE to give them their shot at OSU in the title game.... McFadden did play against USC.

But you're right, I don't find it funny. I don't like the fact that people, including yourself, can say whatever pops in their heads and make an arguement about it. But whenever I try to make a stand on the other side, I get blasted as being retarded and it's shocking that I even know what a football is.

I'm aware that they still scored points, but if he finishes I assume that they win that game, much like you assuming that UK wins the B12 North. Then they would only have 1 loss and it would be to OSU w/ a Freshman QB in his first or second game of his career.
