Campbell County 61 John Hardin 60 (KHSAA Boys Sweet Sixteen® Round 1)

Eleventy billion? wow, that's alot! I don't think you are off by too many.

Unbelievable game. Camels finally catch a break at Rupp. John Harden was/is a very solid team, easy to see how they were undefeated. Good luck on Friday, it should be another close game. Go Camels!

Those two could play a great Best Of 7 series.

Game Stats

Congrats to the Camels!

13. I was close.

Impressive that Campbell County won even though Drew Wilson didn't have a great game. I expect he'll be a difference maker on Friday.

Congrats Camels! Giant killer!

Looks like Tanner Lawrence came up big.

I’m very proud of my Dawgs. They fought hard. CC was just better, it happens. Congrats to both teams and good luck to the Camels the rest of the way

Great game and could have gone either way at the end. Weak FT shooting has been John Hardin's achilles heel all season (63%). Unfortunately, it rared its' ugly head in crunch time against the Camels.

From the final media timeout on, free throw shooting hurt both teams. Jolly and Lawrence both missed one and Wilson missed the front end coming out of a timeout.

John Hardin missed at least a pair of front ends of bonuses.

Having said that, both teams really got after it. Wouldn't be surprised if tired legs added to the pressure of the moment.

Congratulations to John Hardin on a great season.

Congratulations to the Camels on their win.

Camels did what most thought they would need to do, to get the win over a very talented John Hardin team.

REBOUND

Camels held John Hardin, the states leading rebounding team at 39 per game, to just 26 rebounds. Camels out battled the Bulldogs on the boards 28-26 as well.

Nice win guys, now on to deal with another talented team in Walton Verona Friday noon.

GO CAMELS
