NKY vet recommendations

I recently changed to Ft. Mitchell Vet Center, Dr Olexia. I thought my previous Vet was rather impersonal and my itemized bills looked incredibly padded. Ft. Mitchell Vet is not really cheaper, but seemed more concerned and caring. My dog is a real nut case when she goes and he handles her much better. I recently took my dog there for pain she was having. I was afraid that I was going to pay for a few xrays. Dr. Olexia did a thorough physical exam, no xrays and correctly fixed her problem.

Plus, he is a military vet as well, a vet vet!

It's been over 10 years since I've needed their services, and while it is a good drive to Grants Lick, Ky past Alexandria, the care and fair pricing that I got at the Grants Lick Veterinary Hospital was better than anything else I could fine.

Started in 1962 by Dr. Joseph Crowley, and now ran by his son Mike, you always get kind and old school care there while not feeling gouged by the costs. The savings were worth the drive down 27. I can only assume that the hospital is still ran this way.

I know a vet at Grants Lick and from everything I've heard, she does a terrific job (I've not personally gone there).

I use Banfield at the Newport Petsmart and they've always been great. I've taken dogs to the Florence Animal Hospital before and they do a terrific job as well.

Erlanger Veterinary Hospital. Dr Tony Schuman has been my Brittany's Doctor for about 10 years. Dr. Schuman saved our Champ from an accidental Antifreeze scare as a young dog and surgically repaired his Ankle a few years back from chasing a Squirrel.:jump:
