Booge
Didn't take Pelosi long to show her pledge to "clean up corruption" was bogus. House Speaker-designate Nancy Pelosi's endorsement of Rep. John P. Murtha's bid for House majority leader set off a furor yesterday on Capitol Hill, with critics charging that she is undercutting her pledge to clean up corruption by backing a veteran lawmaker who they say has repeatedly skirted ethical boundaries. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/11/13/AR2006111300722.html
ladiesbballcoach
Don't know anything about the group but if it is Democratic-leaning, this is interesting because it is not Republicans firing this out. "Pelosi's endorsement suggests to me she was interested in the culture of corruption only as a campaign issue and has no real interest in true reform," said Melanie Sloan, executive director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), a Democratic-leaning group. "It is shocking to me that someone with [Murtha's] ethics problems could be number two in the House leadership."
Hearsay
Dear Nancy: Please find enclosed, with my compliments, some additional rope by which you can hang you and your party with. It stretches all the way to 2008. All the best, love to Hillary. Very Truly Yours, Hearsay

It's great that Dems' response (not that this is really a response to the topic of this thread, lol) is already this weak, this early in the game.

Once again proving that the Democrats have no plan other than to point fingers at the Republicans.
LC99
Once again proving that the Democrats have no plan other than to point fingers at the Republicans. And the Republicans once again proving they are not above it, and also no plan, point fingers right back at the Dems. The Wheels on the bus go round and round. The Wheels on the bus go round and round. And thus the reason that one party taking the road that they are more ethical and less corrupt is ridiculous and hilarious and sad that some people fall for it. Also, for future knowledge, if you post in P & R and take the stance that your party (Dem/Rep) is less corrupt and more ethical than the other party, you immediately lose credibility points.:thumb: They both, as parties, are corrupt, unethical and influenced by special interest groups. There are some wonderful individuals but as a whole, they have a stench about them.

Add that one party has more morals, values, and faith, then the others I agree 100%
