Correct but people are mocking us like he took Fields. He took a 1 year guy and talked Rattler into redshirting or playing mop-up for a year apparently.

After telling Spencer Rattler he wouldn't be pursuing Justin Fields, #Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley was upfront with him regarding Jalen Hurts. With Austin Kendall deciding to transfer, the #Sooners now had a need for an older player in the QB room.

January 17, 20197 yr There is no loyalty in big time college football. Players who give the program/coach the best chance to win play. If you are an elite Coach, you don’t put all your eggs in the basket of a true freshman.

Oklahoma will be a strong contender for the playoff with Jalen Hurts. They also would have been a strong contender with Spencer Rattler.

Neither are elite QB's. Not at all. Hurts and Bama soundly beat Clemson when Bryant was the qb. The game was never even really close and I dont think Clemson even scored a td that game. Which imo played a big reason why Clemson made the qb change. Dabo saw how Bryant wasnt good enough for them to beat the other top teams.

August 20, 20197 yr Well all the talk of Hurts may not win the job if he went to Oklahoma. He doesn't fit Oklahoma's system, he can't throw more than 25 plus times a game all seem to have been for not. He was officially declared the starter today. Me personally I think he is going to shock some people with how well he plays and passes the ball this year.
