Final

Very nice game by the Chargers.

But aw, Lamar! Great job bringing excitement and revitalizing the Ravens’ late season AND late in the playoff game – look forward to watching the Ravens again in August.

Congrats to Lamar on a GREAT rookie season!! Took over a 4-5 team and led them to the playoffs. 6-2 record as a starter, and the youngest QB to start a playoff game. Got some things to work on in the off season, but it’s only up from here.

Tough loss for the Ravens. Too many obstacles in the first three quarters to come away with it, but still had a chance in the end. Lamar had his rookie challenges today and at other times of the season, but I believe that he’s proven a lot of doubters wrong.

So glad Harbaugh stuck with Lamar the entire game – I know we’ll see success in his Playoff games in the future.

He has, and it’s been a bitter pill for some to swallow. I look forward to that continuing throughout his career.

To echo what others have said. Lamar had a great rookie year and was the reason why they made the playoffs.

Then after having negative 2 yards passing and only 3 first downs after 3 quarters. He led a great 4th quarter comeback to give his team a shot.

The AFC North has 2 very young exciting qbs for the future and and old but still good future hall of Famer in Big Ben. Hopefully the other AFC North team can find a difference maker at qb like the other 3 teams.

I thought it was a very exciting football game.

I am curious to see how the Ravens' offense performs next year.

Congrats Bolts!

Me too on sticking with Lamar.

I completely agree. He is definitely the quarterback for the Ravens and he’s been.

I agree with you about the other team from the division finding another quarterback and resolving other issues. If they don’t, they are going to be in the cellar for a while with the way the rest of the division has looked.

Almost felt like that was a move for the future, not this game; but almost worked out for them. He really needs to find a way to at least keep defenses honest with the pass to succeed. Interesting future for most of the AFC North!

Chargers dominated that football game for the first 50 minutes.

Thought it was interesting that they're the first team Lamar has played twice. They have a really good defense, but they made some adjustments and were really able to keep him in check. Will be interesting to see how other teams fare on their 2nd and beyond go rounds against Lamar going forward.

I love watching Philip Rivers. Dude is just a competitor.

The thing to watch going forward for the Ravens will be how they really cater the offense to Lamar. This system and playbook was not designed for Lamar, it was designed for Flacco. What we watched were adaptations to Lamar being the guy. It will be interesting to see how a playbook that's really geared toward taking advantage of Lamar's strengths and helping along his inefficiencies makes a difference.

And a Grade A clown. Can't stand dude.
