November 14, 200619 yr If USC wins out, then I think they deserve the nod over a one-loss Michigan or Ohio State. I guess it depends on if you put more stock in who you beat, or who you lose to. I put more in who you win against. Running the table would give the Trojans wins against Arkansas, Nebraska, Oregon, California, and Notre Dame. Of their remaining wins, only Washington and Stanford are currently under .500. One thing that helps Southern Cal with it's schedule strength is that there are no cup-cakes on it. Their OOC schedule is Arkansas, Nebraska, and Notre Dame...not bad. And much more impressive than, say, Southern Mississippi, Central Florida, Western Carolina and Florida State. Or Vanderbilt, Central Michigan, Notre Dame and Ball State. Or Northern Illinois, Texas, Cincinnati and Bowling Green. But, that's just my opinion.

You would get no argument from me, because if USC wins out I think they definitely should be in title game. Honestly I think that as long as USC beats Cal, that the winner of the USC vs. Notre Dame game will end up facing the winner of the OSU vs. UM game IMO....
