GRC is a good team and I got to root for them since they put my team out:cry: . But Henry Clay looks like they're on a mission.

Disagree all you want. The score and the stats prove my point. HC didn't lose a tight one that night, they got whipped by a better team. It happens every year. Some programs brag about their players while teams continiue to defeat those guys on their way to titles.

Also, "Sam is close, but not Beatty". Close? In what way?

FYI, this game may never take place.

yea trinity did whip us last year...hc went to the semifinals for the first time in awhile and got overwhelmed in it all. This hc team has the experience from last year and completely different players. The oline, dline, qb, rb and lbs are all different ppl this year. If or when they play in the semi's again, i guarentee the outcome will be different.

As for clark co...devils roll!

GRC has talented starters, but none like HC. This one will be a suprise only to GRC fans when they see the scoreboard at the end of the game. The two met in the preseason and GRC had a few good runs, but could basically do nothing with HC. GRC may have gotten better since then, but HC is supernova right now. The comment the HC player made in the paper was probably true. Like last year vs. Trinity, they will only beat themselves.

Are you sure you were at THIS year's scrimmage between GRC and the Devils? From my recollection, GRC held their own very well- and HC had a little difficulty with them then. I do agree that they are more playoff tested and experienced- but fortunately for us GRC fans, the game will be played on Friday night and not in the Herald-Leader or on here! It is the postseaon and anything is possible- ask some other teams who thought they'd be playing HC on Friday night or beating them to get here. Looking forward to seeing ya'll at our place . . . . we'll have the hot chocolate ready!:D

That's what I was thinking CP.... I was told they held their own and was pretty even. Although one of HC's best players didn't play if I'm correct. But you are right it's playoff time and anything can happen. :ylsuper:

HC pretty big, but hey its playoffs big things happen in the playoffs

I am going to make the exact same comment i did last week. The outcome of this game is going to depend on which GRC team shows up on Friday.

Cardinal Pride.....Are you buying a hot chocolate for me this week?

With rain on Wednesday, it doesn't make for a good mid-week practice, but I think the Cards will be ready. When GRC sees the predictions of HC winning, they are going to dig down deep and play their A game! I have no doubt that each player will give their best Friday. They have just begun to feel like a family and I don't think they are ready for that to end! GO CARDS!!!!

Would like to see Clark County win but my head tells me no.

PS; if guys need predictions on BGP as bulletin board material to fire them up in week 3 of the playoffs, there are intensity issues.

You bet I'm buyin'!!!!! You want M & M's too?

I think this will be GRC's best effort yet!!! So many positive things are starting to happen w/ these guys- this will be a GREAT time for them to peak!!

I don't mean to speak for gold sunrise but I don't think it is a motivation issue-- I think it is a respect issue.

GRC needs to jump out early and fluster HC. Even with all of HC's talent it is pretty evident their weakness is in their mental game. I hope it is a good game all around and GRC comes out to play solid football.

Kinda what they did to Lincoln Co.? They have to come ready to play right off the bat.
