GRC is playing very solid right now. But so is Henry Clay. I will be rooting for the Cardinals all the way in this one. But I think the Devils just have too much and will be the fastest team that GRC has seen all season.

This sounds like another team recently...except this team isnt playing anymore! Too much publicity can be a bad thing.

GRC has talented starters, but none like HC. This one will be a suprise only to GRC fans when they see the scoreboard at the end of the game. The two met in the preseason and GRC had a few good runs, but could basically do nothing with HC. GRC may have gotten better since then, but HC is supernova right now. The comment the HC player made in the paper was probably true. Like last year vs. Trinity, they will only beat themselves.

Sorry fella. I was at the Trinity game last year. Your boys got rolled. The Rocks were up 21 zip before HC knew what hit them. They were never in that game. Maybe this year will be different, but last year they got whipped by a better team. I don't buy your "talent" claims either. HC may have had great potential last year but talent is potential realized and in that catagory the Rocks had the edge.

Disagree. There are two things that can always cause talent problems. Coaching and enviroment. Playing at Trinity would be hard for the buckeyes. The best crowd in KY, the facilities, and the alumni. Green everywhere. Trinity is used to those kind of games, while Lexington is trying to catch-up. Not to mention the number of players in uniform. Kind-of makes you feel a little fatigued before kick-off. psych thing. Sam is close, but not Beatty, and especially not Coverdale (super genious). Talent is talent, but useless when affected by the factors mentioned above.

Disagree all you want. The score and the stats prove my point. HC didn't lose a tight one that night, they got whipped by a better team. It happens every year. Some programs brag about their players while teams continiue to defeat those guys on their way to titles.

A word of caution to both teams, ... watch your language in this one. I know that being a regional final will have everyone's emotions in a tizzy and that the officials from central KY are much more tolerant of language which features shall we say 'sentence enhancers'. However, the officiating crew assigned to this game are experienced and very solid, but have zero tolerance for ANY foul language and anything resembling unsportsmanlike conduct from players and/or coaches. They will enforce the KHSAA code as it is read before the games without hesitation. :thumb:
