Major upset in Ft. Mitchell as the Tigers grabbed a tough victory over the #1 team in the 10th Region Campbell County Camels. This game was a battle all night with the muscle of CC against a much smaller BW squad. Game ultimately decided by 2 free throws by Scotty Draud with 5 seconds left to put the Tigers up 3. Camels cut it back to 1 on 2 FTs with less than 2 seconds. The 2nd made one was intended to miss and was shot high off the glass, but unfortunately banked in denying the Camels any chance for a putback rebound.

Impressive win for Beechwood, with this win and the one over Scott, you have to love their chances in the 10th (yes, I know, it is a joke).

Congrats to the Tigers. You have to think this team will get Coach Goetz to a regional tourney; good stuff!!

Sorry, no access to stats other than Reid Jolly had 24. This guy is a horse with finesse. I was impressed, unfortunately his charge with 5 seconds left and down 1 was a huge defensive play by BW's Baugh.

Just my opinion.....Camels win 3 of 5....but, not tonight. Draud did not have a good game and yet BW takes this one at home. There is not a lot separating these two teams. Both well coached and Camels defense (forcing three consecutive turnovers) almost pulled this one out. Can easily see BW as one of top 3 in 9th. Camels suffer a little tarnish on that 10th Region top spot. Mcpapa going to have some chin scratching this week.

Nice win for the Tigers. The Camels face guarded and held Draud all game. Scotty had to really work tonight for his points. I thought the game changed when Goetz put Duncan Baugh on Reid Jolly. Reid had to work a lot harder to get his points against Duncan. Beechwood will definitely be a tough out in the 9th Region the next few years.
