Sunshine played awesome on defense tonight. He is a tough kid and will be fine.

Sunshine ? Is he the son of Sunshine in the movie Remember the Titans?

What do you mean...did Walker get hurt again?

Tough way to end the season for Newport. They'll be crying in their beer.

Solid season considering what they lost from last season.

Boo . Congrats to Mercer and good luck the rest of the way as for Newport you boys played your tails off and there is nothing to hang your heads about.

It was something to see his teammates rush to carry him off the field. This team has come really come together. Sunshine has struggled with hamstrings injuries since track. What a great game for the TITANS tonight, they were AWESOME! The pass from Jackson to Smith was great.

Nickname, long BEFORE we merged as the Titans, ironic?

Newport played a very hard game tonight. :thumb:

Yeah, but pray he'll be okay, we need everyone healthy vs. Larue. It was on the last TD he scored.

Cool picture scanned from the cover of the football program I got tonight. I wasn't sure last year about the blue helmts - but I think they're sharp.

Walker played one heck of a game. The last TD was just pure effort. If he is not able to go next week, Mercer will be fine. Griffith will pick up the slack just fine and Mercer will not miss a beat.

Wow....you have one heck of a scanner................

Good win for the Titans.

Isn't that kind of a low blow . The beer part I mean .

I have missed Nathan Griffith playing, some things I just don't understand?

As fo the scanner, it was a good color pic to begin with!

Way to Go Coach Jaggers and Company! You know the Ads are Pulling for you all of the way! Good luck next week against Larue Co!

I was pulling for Newport in this one but seems MC was to much for them. Great season for Newport.

Coach has a bad tendency of pushing the panic button if he falls behind. Coach Edge for O'boro Catholic is always good for one upset per season and he hasn't hit that feat yet. I think Catholic will be giving Mercer a game just like the unstoppable Fort Campbell team last year.:dancingpa
