I agree that we have become Giants of 2A. Not agruing that fact. The fact is that we were ranked lower than all the teams we have faced in O4 and 05, that too was a fact. 03 we were suppose to be the unbeatable team, but we choked. Ever since then we have had the ability of pulling upsets because of some players stepping it up. "For the record, Making it to semi-state is a privilege for OC. Before 03, it only happened once for us in 97, which pulled an upset that year (Franklin Simpson, which was the unbeatable that year). I just saying let us play the game at least before counting us out, or should we not show up?

IN 04, Corbin was ahead on every poll because of Catholic's record. Catholic was having a rocky season starting out 1-3. That is why we were not ranked higher than Corbin that year. Just the same way this year. BGP doesn't even have us ranked.

No, I got a wedding rehearsal Friday night, but I will be at the state game to watch OC. I have seen game film on Jackson.

We look through them every year, every sport program we have to offer. Did you know, they are changing our school name to Owensboro Sports Academy, I just love it, got a nice ring.

We'll just go to state in that as well. According to some posters in Kentucky Preps, our school is now called Owensboro Sports Academy because of the success of EVERY sport we played.

Same goes for OC over MC for the fact that OC has been there

Thanks for the good riddance. For the record, we did beat Harrodsburg back in 96 as an underdog when they had Dennis Johnson and Company. The only touchdown came from Coach Edge's brother Robert for a 96 yarder. On the film, you can hear the coaches for Harrodsburg stating that he was the fastest white boy they have ever seen.

Male was supposed to roll over 4A being the #3 team in the nation and look what happened. My point is that anything can happen. I know MC is a heavy favorite. I know they probably could beat the Ft. Campbell last year. Im just saying that OC has a chance. Everyone is acting like they should not have this game and go ahead to state. But Ft. Campbell last year wasn't much more of a favorite because we were a lot better than this year. WE WERE STACKED IN 03 and look what happened. MY POINT: Anything can happen, lets play and see.

The number factor is about that you have 950 kids that go to your school. OC has 400. We have a lot that dress but only about 17 play. The advantage is that MC probably has more talent to chose from. But in my mind, we have beaten 4A schools before, BAD! Not this year because we are young and played them at the beginning of the season. I think it is about coaching. Coach Edge is very good on breaking down game film and putting the right personnel at the right place. This actually his 6th semi-state game as a coach. (2 with Owensboro and 4 with OC in 8 years) NOT BAD for a 30 year old.
