Anybody know how Bryan Station will be next season? Seemed like they were young but talented this year. I think they should be improved next season.

Male 2 state titles in 4 years.

St. X - last state title in 2009.

 

Just to be clear, my Tier 1 for next year would be Trinity, Male and St. X.

 

I guess my point is either way Male and St. X are the same tier, whether that’s 1 or 2.

They usually have a couple really good players but other than that average team.

Male, St. X, and Trinity in my opinion are Tier 1 teams for 2019 in 6A. To figure out the order that they should be placed you have to look at the returning talent. For the seniors to be class I would say St X is the strongest, followed by Trinity, then Male. For the juniors to be Trinity has the strongest class (by a wide margin), then Male followed by St X. For the sophomore to be class St X is strongest followed Trinity and Male. When you aggregate it together I would rate it Trinity then St X followed by Male. I believe the state champion will come from one of these 3 schools. Trinity gets the nod due to the strength of their next year junior class.

With Trinity losing Jtown and Seneca from the district, I was told they are picking up Bowling Green and possibly Cincy St. X. Naperville Central expressed interest in coming back to Louisville in 2019 as well if their schedule will allow. Trinity has also contacted teams in the Kansas City area.

From what I understand BG is a done deal. Cincy X is 50/50.

Those other teams you mentioned might feel brave for one year, but not froggy enough for a home and home. With the exception of CCH.

BG’s schedule could be really tough.

 

Logistical question...does Trinity contact the out of state teams or do they have a “middle man” find schools, like a promoter?
