I just talked to a Heisman voter who mailed his ballot this morning, he said he can't give any indication of how he voted for 1st, 2nd or 3rd, but he said his order changed after Saturday.

 

I bet he is in the majority. Now, he easily could have meant he flipped 2nd and 3rd, but I bet a lot of the voters will lean on the last games each player put up.

If you want to get into a discussion about competition, fine. I don’t know how we specifically quantify that. Obviously Tua played against some better defenses, but that’s not Kylers fault. He did everything asked of him. Why do I need to hold that against him? What more could Kyler have done?

I guess the difference is you think one game changes a whole season (recency bias) and I don't. I said early in the season one bad game doesn't change anything for Tua and I stand by that. He's the front runner, and I really don't think it's close.

Those are Haskins numbers against Michigan. I wasn’t advocating for Haskins, but if that’s the rabbit hole people want to go down I’d be fine with that.

I think SEC title game will probably cost Tua the Heisman...bad time to have your worst game.

Coach said after the game he’s had an injured ankle for the past couple of weeks and it has affected his performances. A healthy Tua is the best Heisman choice.
