Where are they this election year?

Where's all the whiners crying about voter fraud and disenfranchisment? Do they only come out when the Democrats lose?

yes.

I asked a guy at work about this today, he literally said.

"You all tried to keep us from voting but there were so many of us we won anyway. "

This guy also believes that George Bush orchestrated 9-11.:irked:

Nope, I just got done listening to claims of voter irregularity in Florida on NPR.

Irregularity is not uncommon amongst retirees. :D

Guess who's district?

Harris' old district.

Coincidence? Not likely...

There's also a nugget about how electronic voting will screw Allen out of any chance at winning a recount in Virginia in the NYT article.

You are so right about this!! It is a shame the Democrats are like that, but the truth is the truth!!

Isn't that sort of like a basketball coach spending his entire press conference complaining about bad calls after winning by 20?

WLW was reporting that Democrats in Cleveland had sued to keep the polls open after the posted closing time.

For some reason, it seems that is the same problem Cleveland has every election year. Seems like they could fix that.

Have you ever been to Cleveland? If there weren't problems, there'd be nothing at all.

I didn't know Sam Wyche was here among us on BGP.

Fewer Republicans are trained to consider themselves victims. When Republican candidates lose, they tend to believe that it was their own fault, as do their supporters. When Democrats lose, they are more likely to believe "they was robbed." I don't expect to hear George Allen to claim that he was cheated, and he is already on record as saying that he will not drag out the process. (Although there would be nothing wrong with him asking for a recount considering the small winning margin.)

Republicans lost Congress Tuesday and they deserved to lose it. Democrats have done nothing to deserve the win, but more people decided that they were the lesser of two evils in this round of elections.

To some, the very existence of this thread might look like whining ...

Whining about whiners?

No, just wondering why disenfrancisment and voter fraud only happens when the Democrats lose. I would think that they would be concerned about it regardless.
