Stage is set for a big Big10 matchup next week. OSU gets to play spoiler and potentially play themselves into the playoff as long as there are some upsets that take place.

I don’t understand why everyone is so hell bent on trying to figure out what is wrong with Urban. Like are you watching the same games he is because his team is playing horrible. He was in a great mood and super energetic at Michigan State last week, today he didn’t because OSU played awful. Come talk to me when Ohio State has a good game and Urban looks bad on the sidelines. Then I’ll start to worry.

I hope Michigan beats OSU so there is a chance that the Buckeyes could play UCF. That might put to rest the question of whether UCF deserves a better ranking or tell us how over rated the B10 is.

You evidently don't understand the TV contracts. Once a 10 year CFP contract is signed...the schools aren't getting anymore money. If during those contract years the ratings are really good, then they can get a bigger contract the next time the rights come up. One year without Alabama or Ohio State isn't going to make a dimes difference to that years payout. The yearly payout was determined at the beginning in the contract.

You're right but this isn't about contracts for the schools. It's about ratings, therefore, revenue for ESPN. Lower ratings mean less revenue for ESPN in the following year. Understanding my point? It's ESPN's invitational. They want revenue for next year.

I can't wait for next week. This will be the 2nd time that Harbaugh has had a better team than Ohio State. Hopefully, Michigan can get it done this time.

 

As for today's game, it's tough to win on the road but it's hard to believe Maryland was able to score so many points. I'm not exactly sure what is wrong with Ohio State, but something is. The offense was fine. The defense should never allow 50+ points to Maryland.
