November 5, 200619 yr Why would the BCS want to see a rematch of OSU and Texas? Texas was beaten soundly by OSU at home. True, but some people might would want to see Texas get a chance to defend their title in the title game...I hope that dont happen though...
November 6, 200619 yr I really think it is formality for UL now...If U of L is impressive this Thursday night....all will be ok for them from here on out...I do believe that....GA losing to UK helped UL....same thing with UT losing as well. Miami continuing to lose is hurting UofL though too.....

November 6, 200619 yr Counteracts help from UK winning... Pretty ironic if UK is the deciding factor on UofL getting into the big game! I still wonder what will happen if Florida wins out.

November 6, 200619 yr In the BCS, UL has more points in the Harris than Texas. .01 behind Florida in the Coaches. The  act is stale...It is not a crying act just listen to the pundits, like LCRW pointed out it started with Bradshaw and will continue unless Louisville blow up Rutgers and either Florida loses to the old ball coach or FSU, and/or Texas loses.

I've heard far more positive than negative on UL being #3...
November 6, 200619 yr Not trying to back the SEC here because I do think that if UL wins out that they rightfully belong in the National Championship game but we need some type of playoff system. I just think it is so unfair to the SEC because of the tough interconference schedules they must play. It's no fair to teams such as Florida who play ranked opponents almost every week compared to teams like USC that play teams like Washington State. Once again not crying that the SEC is the all-world conference and that Florida deserves to play in the Nat. Championship, I just know it is much more difficult to go undeafted in the SEC than any other conference.

True about getting some help from UK, and UK has moved into the lower 40's in some power rankings, but The U is heading south in a hurry.

November 6, 200619 yr The Gators have only three ranked teams right now on their schedule. USC has 5... Then I stand corrected... but I still think it is harder to go undeafted in the SEC than any other conference. JMO.

November 6, 200619 yr True about getting some help from UK, and UK has moved into the lower 40's in some power rankings, but The U is heading south in a hurry. I don't see that....they have been supremely competitive with GTech and VPI, if they win 2/3 to end the season, that should be fine.
