Aside from the weekly BGP Mr. Football Watchlist, we're now offering members an opportunity to weigh in on who they think are the top 5 Mr. Football candidates. Each week, after the new watchlist is posted, a new rankings thread will be posted as well, where any and all members are welcome to vote on their personal top 5. Single player votes will not be counted. You must post a complete top 5. The deadline for voting will be Wednesday evening, at which point the votes will be tallied up and the final results will be posted. A link to the most recent watchlist can be found at the bottom of post #1 for members to use as a reference for weekly and updated season statistics and results. Please use this format to vote (the following is purely an example)…

1. Wandale Robinson

2. Casey McGinness

3. Milton Wright

4. Cameron Jones

5. Gavin Spurrier

Post your top 5 in this thread.

Who do nos. 4 and 5 play for, and what positions? Thanks.

Here is my personal Mr. Football watch list:

They're both QBs. Jones plays for Frederick Douglass, Spurrier for South Warren.

Here is my personal Mr. Football watch list:

1. Wandale Robinson

For the sake of the thread, can I get a 2 through 5? Good to see you back, btw.

I will throw Casey McGinness and Milton Wright onto the list just to add a few names, but Wandale Robinson is way ahead in my mind.

ttt

So Wandale's season ended tonight in the 1st round of the playoffs with the Western Hills loss to Lawrence County. Does that have any potential impact on his spot as the apparent leader for the Mr. Football Award?

Not since he's now a UK commit.

Not even slightly.

It really shouldn't. Everyone knew what Western Hills had and the fact he could get the numbers he did while the other team focused on stopping him alone is a testament to his ability even more.

If he doesn’t win they should just do away with all awards. They’ll be rendered meaningless.
