October 8, 20187 yr Seems about right. I would have ND ahead of Clemson and Washington and Penn State ahead of West Virginia but other than that I’m fine with this poll.
October 8, 20187 yr West Virginia will remain ranked high until they lose if they do. Wouldn’t it be wild if West Virginia and Note Dame go undefeated? I don’t believe that it will happen, but the playoff pairings would be interesting to say in the least if it did.

Will Grier is great, but so are Kyler Murray and Sam Ehlinger and I like the pieces around those 2 guys more than I do Grier’s. An undefeated West Virginia is not something college football needs to worry about right now. An undefeated Notre Dame though is going to happen IMO.

October 8, 20187 yr Let's see. Kentucky and Florida are both 5-1, Kentucky won by 11 at Florida, and Florida is ranked higher. Makes perfect sense to me.

October 8, 20187 yr Penn State shouldn't be ahead of Texas and Michigan shouldn't be ahead of LSU. I don’t have an issue with Texas being ahead of Penn State. Their resume is significantly better. I believe Penn State would beat Texas if they played, but no issue putting Texas above Penn State right now. LSU/ Michigan is a toss up now that one of LSUs wins got devalued this week. I wouldn’t have an issue either way with those 2 teams right now.
October 8, 20187 yr I think I’m a little confused at what you all are watching with Auburn. They can’t block anyone and they can’t run the ball. Like the same arguments you were using to say Penn State looked bad against lesser teams should be used in the same manner against Auburn. I’m just confused at why you think Auburn is a top 5 team but don’t give Penn State any credit at all. Give myself a little pat on the back for actually believing what my eyes were telling me that Auburn can’t block and can’t run the ball. This is the insight that can only be gained by actually watching games. Auburn will be lucky to make it to 8-4.
