September 10, 20188 yr His baseball season is over, so, he can do his SEC Network duties. If he is part of Mullen's staff, (which I don't think he is), it would be hard to be in Columbia, Oxford, Tuscaloosa, Lexington, and still get to Florida's game. If that is the case, it seems there is hardly enough time in the day to get all this done. Gotcha. Thought you were going down the road of saying that there it too much of a conflict of interest. If you're concerned with his time, I'm not sure why it matters if that's what he wants to do.
September 10, 20188 yr I doubt this is the best he will have. I agree it is the best he has had. Hope you just worded it wrong. This is his best collection of talent. There’s good players behind these kids too but with UC recruiting better and Ohio talent thinning, this is for sure his bowl win, magical year in my opinion.

However, I think it would help him to spend time in Lexington, Athens, Knoxville, etc. during the week, to get info about their upcoming game, so he doesn't make ridiculous statements, like the one he made Saturday. He does get paid by the SEC Network to provide insight on SEC Nation on Saturday mornings.
September 11, 20188 yr Cats! Cats! Cats! I am so happy. I told you not to get too worked up about the first week turnovers. First D-1 action for Wilson and Hoak. Nowhere to go but up! :thumb:

September 12, 20188 yr Great win, and a convincing one at that. Only question...and not intended to be negative....but do others think, as I do, that the "Wildcat" has outlived is usefulness? It seems to me that UK is harder to defend with their quarterback in the backfield as the defense has to be prepared for more options.

My guess is they have practiced their 4 minute drill in Wildcat more that with Wilson. Put the ball in your best and most experienced players hands and let him close the game. With that said, they execute the running game better out of the traditional sets instead of Wildcat IMO for the reasons you stated.

I definitely like Snell to get the ball but without giving the defense a chance to load up on him.
