I don't think anyone is having a problem with Coach Evans or any of the football coaches or the program besides BC Rules. If I remember right, and I could be remembering wrong, when things didn't go the way BC Rules wanted in the baseball season, that's when he brought up fighting and over confidence in that team then.

There is always going to be differences of opinion when you put that many players together, but there is nothing that can't be worked out and learned from.

I live in the wymt coverage area... I would like to say congrats to Johnson Central on their team of the week award. Coach Matney said his team was getting better every week, if that is the case... watch out for the golden eagles.

Its hard not to vote for JC in this game. It would be realy hard for me to do so since i played there for 4 years. Anyone who has followed them through the season would have to vote for them. But there will always be people there to cheer against them, they usually go to the other school, or they just wanna see JC go down so as to not have to play them in the next round.:scared:

But even though I am and will always cheering for JC in this and any game to come i hope it is a good game and that no player from either team gets hurt.

JC should have cancelled the football season rather than hire Humphries. He was a horrible coach.

No instead of canceling the season they should of just let the assistant coaches coached the season or have let the players play backyard football. With the talent that group had anything could of happened. I was a freshman for that season and you could tell the other players werent having fun anymore. The only thing i truly enjoyed about that season was that they let the freshman practice on the other part of the field with Eddie Blair and we didnt have to listen to Humphies mouth.:sssh:

There were alot of things that went wrong with that season. Johnson Central strung out its search for a quality coach, and in fact persuade Coach Matney very hard but he stayed loyal to SC, and Humphery was pretty much the last resort. I still never understood hiring a Coach from Missouri but..... Also Humphery changed the offense I believe 4 times that year which didnt help either. I also believe there was alot of turmoil within the coaching staff about some differences. Thankfully that is all in the past and the future of JC football is looking very bright.:thumb:

I belive in fate. With that said, Bill Tom Ross made Raceland into a big time football school when he was there. Then when he went to Johnson Central and had a bunch of health problems that he couldnt help. His record at Johnson Central was 3-17 over 2 years.

Enter coach Jim Matney.

Matney arrived at the perfect time. Johnson County needed a winning football team, and he delievered.

OK, I will bite too....WHO is the other player?

I'll bite three.

Kinda like Fishing...A lot of bites, but nothing caught yet...:thumb:

Clear skies, no rain and cold temps... it will be a good night for football.

Sorry dudes, work has been extremely busy and online hasn't been included it. But I'm sure y'all know by now and Gatlin was in the game so it was good to see him doing better. Other player was Chase Miller.
