This might be the game where J.K. Ratliff shows off his arm. And believe me, he has the recivers to throw to as well.

I don't know of JC has enough to win it all, but I do think they will give Northern Ky. a game for the first time in a long time.

Win your district first, then, that silly little detail called a regional championship...then...you may have a crack at Northern Kentucky teams.

This is a great year to be an Eagle...savor each of these games because once its over, its a long way til next season.

Personally, I think JC DOES have what it takes to "win it all"...but you gotta do it, THEN crow about it. Although what happened last year was long ago, it still lingers in my mind about whether or not the Eagles choke before its their time to bow out.

It hasn't been that long ago that a Boyd County team was seeded 4th and went to Bell County and came home with a playoff win. In the playoffs anything can happen. Teams have to play every play as if it is the last. good luck to both but I will have to pull for Coach Evans.

I remember that year very well, Yak...it was truly a David & Goliath moment. Boyd definately was able to sneek up on Bell that game but with our current playoff scenario, I dont think the Lions will be able to suprise JC like they did Bell......but it does make you think about the possibility.

Boyd County surprised JC with an opening kick-off return for a touchdown this season. But JC bounced back like it never happened.

I bet that xyience picks all the letters out of his Alphabits and his soup except the J and the C. Do I have any takers?

LOL

Is that how you came up with your screen name?....Just taking a ladle full of alphabet soup?

You know not.

My alias (yeah right) is from the early 90's in which a group of young men formed an association based on athletics, alcohol, and girls. Just a word of caution, there are other Yaks on this board.

I am thankful that the good Lord saw fit to change me.

I will agree with Oldrambler, if Boyd wins this one, it would be the upset not only of the season but of so many JC posters that the shelves in the grocery stores in Johnson county would be barren of cheerios in which folks would be crying.

Don't see it though!;)

JC keeps rollin in this one and is able to rest the starters pretty much the whole second half.

JC- 49

Boyd- 6

Much like the Rats over the Pythons, JC will cruise to victory.:D

Soldier of the Cross knows what I'm talking about.:thumb:

Cheerios... I am a fruity pebbles person.

Actually, Bell Co. did a good job of that a couple of years ago. And Rockcastle destroyed Highlands in 2002.

;)
