Is Class 6A Excited?

Let’s not forget, Trinity was 28 seconds away from winning the game. Carmel made a play...Otherwise this thread doesn’t exist.

So, you are a big fan of "almost won" games? They lost, that's all that matters.

So, you think Male has 0% chance?

No, they definitely have a shot. But they had a shot before Trinity lost tonight. A loss to an out of state power who is likely better than everyone in KY is irrelevant.

Not at all. Carmel won the game. Just enjoying the circling buzzards. We will see over the next three months.

Com'on man, you are an 18 year old and you are being told, "we can beat Trinity this year" and then Trinity loses a game and your thought process doesn't change one bit? Just say it, 6A teams are excited about Trinity and St. X getting beat in week one of the season.

I think a program like Male believes that they can defeat Trinity and St. X every year. I think they were excited after they smacked BG in their scrimmage and I think tonight they were happy to see that Trinity and St. X lost.

Male and X always think they can beat Trinity regardless of Trinity's record. It's different in Louisville and especially for those three teams...

There is a good chance after next week both Saint Xavier and Trinity will be 0-2.

Bowling Green is always tough, and Warren Central is ranked number 1 in Indiana.

In the case of Trinity, they gave a gift to Carmel. Could not make two plays down the stretch cost them the game. Another year Trinity is weak in the secondary. That seems to be an ongoing problem with Trinity.

Imagine how dominant they would have been the past two years with a strong secondary...

Different in Louisville? Us from EKY can't understand? Come on. You don't think Scott County thinks they could beat Trinity and St. X? You don't think Simon Kenton thinks they can beat Trinity and St. X? Thinking it and doing it are obviously two different things. And, thinking it, then seeing those teams get beat makes it much more achievable in ones mind.

I never played a game I didn't think we would win. Did we lose some of them? Of course.

Sure they can think it, but are they excited about the possibility? I doubt it. Kids aren't stupid... Teams in the state are at a mental disadvantage against T/X because they NEVER beat them. SC gets ran every time they play. SK just got smoked by X in a scrimmage.

Thinking it and believing it aren't the same.

Of course Scott County and Simon Kenton thinks they have a chance against Trinity, beating them is something completely different, you seem to be employing the old tactics of UK#1 fan by being inflammatory. The facts, at least in my mind, which is of the utmost importance to me, is that everyone else in 6A is playing for second place, not matter if 3 teams are licking their collective chops or not.

Trust me, Scott County thinks they can beat T and X every time they play them. I've seen it.

Well, good luck with that.
