I would give you my opinion on that but I believe you would twist any opinion into what you want it to say. I think I will stick to trying to be impartial, totally factual and non emotional about all of this. It keeps things simpler as we debate the facts.
August 4, 20188 yr Author Was he convicted when the school took him? No he was not. Was he gone from the school in 3 months? Yes, never played a down. He got one chance at redeeming himself and failed. The conviction didn't happen for over a year and a half after he left the school. Urban has admitted to knowing Smith beat his wife in 2009 and 2015 and still kept him 3 more years. Perfect post for me to make my point. Coach vs player “trial.” Smith was accused of DV and never charged. Taylor was accused and charged. Are we going to continue to ignore that Saban’s risk was convicted and Meyer’s still has no criminal record for DV? Yet Meyer should be fired and Saban is ignored?

Are we going to continue to ignore that Saban’s risk was convicted and Meyer’s still has no criminal record for DV? Yet Meyer should be fired and Saban is ignored? Saban dealt with and cleaned his mistake up...without waiting for a conviction. Urban personally knew, he didn't need a conviction...he knew it happened in 2009 and was going on again in 2015. If he is the Leader of Men he keeps preaching about, shouldn't he have cut him loose? Saban said he'll give a kid a chance, kid screwed up and he was our the door. I wonder if Urban even told OSU about 2009 incidents when he hired Smith?
