Big win for the Wildcats.

16-4 over the last two regular seasons. That's an impressive 80% win percentage. Way to go Big John Schlarman. Get the boys focused for a playoff run!! If the "O" gets on track and the "D" continues to impress maybe an upset is in the making at Mercer in two weeks. Remember the Wildacts have to prove the Spencer game was a fluke first!!!

Nice win for Newport. I heard Llyods field was a mess.

Saw the highlights and it looked a mess, they have a nice surface but the natural stuff can only take so much rain. Suprised by the score for this one, but the elements can really help the underdog.

This score doesnt surprise me its pretty much par for the course for this Newport team. Seems like a ton of there games this year were 13-7. Nice win on the road, git r done next week.

Don't think so. The Wildcats don't have the offense to get to 28, which I think 2A teams will need at a minimum to beat Mercer.
