Flip a coin. One is as bad as the other. With Homer, we do have several years of success. With Sal, we don't have any extended success yet to cause us to believe he can be a capable MLB starter.

 

On this team with no playoff hopes, I am good with giving Homer 4 or 5 starts to show me he is back while giving Sal a chance to step back and try to find something that will help him move forward.

 

I saw some stats today on Romano and overall he has pitched well over his last 7 starts. Also read some comments that indicate the Reds might go to a 6 man rotation. I think a six man rotation is worth trying for a team like the Reds trying to find and groom starting pitchers. It saves innings for the young pitchers and gives more starters a chance to prove themselves.

Did not know Blandino tore his ACL last night. That is very bad luck.

One of the shows yesterday were talking say very little market for him. It would make sense he tries to sign and get what he can if that is the case.
