Berea has a roster posted with 24 players on it. That indicates they are playing football.

 

They've finally made a positive coaching hire. Stepp will get kids out and will do a good job teaching them how to play the game. The numbers likely won't ever be big and who knows if they'll every become a great team, but anything will be a step up from the last few years.

The most recent roster on the KHSAA website lists 20 I believe, with one being a girl, a couple of freshman and sophs. I know at least one on there has since transferred. Am assuming they have anywhere from 17-23, you figure some first timers may quit, not being used to it,etc.

Interesting score. It is hard to know what to expect out of Kentucky Country Day after losing all their key players to graduation. This score indicates they still have some players left on the roster that can compete. Could Ky Country Day turn into this year's Pikeville in 1A?

 

From the Polar Bears side, I would have hoped for more. How did their offensive line look? That seems to be the biggest question mark for Bracken County coming into this season

Well, and just like that Travis will be out for the season with a torn ligament in his knee. Will require surgery. Wishing the best for the senior. Hopefully to make it back for basketball and baseball.
