May 18, 20188 yr This may sound ridiculous, but I honestly believe Burrow has an easier path to starting at LSU than at UC. Hayden Moore is probably better than anyone LSU has right now. Burrow will waltz to the starting job in Baton Rouge.

May 19, 20188 yr 2 years of eligibility is huge for LSU. It’s also the better path to a potential NFL career for Joe as well. I know I’m a homer, but he’s a better QB than Danny Etling and Danny Etling got drafted. If Joe is just an average QB at LSU he could get drafted if he’s an average QB at UC he’s going pro in something other than sports.

Even with Burrow I don’t think they are serious playoff contenders, but I believe it will provide another potential pitfall for Bama so we don’t end up with a similar situation as this year where 2 SEC schools make it over OSU. When there are only 3 good teams in the entire conference it allows for 2 teams to make it because they don’t face as stiff of competition along the way. The more barriers Bama has to navigate the better.
