May 3, 20188 yr Helpful hint ... let us know who the guy is. Not everyone automatically knows who Ware is - starting OLB for UK. He is transferring as a graduate transfer which means he doesn't have to sit out a year.
May 4, 20188 yr I hate to lose him but I'll be rooting for him. I would like to see him transfer to a contender, a team that has a shot at their conference title and/or CFP. I was happy to see Jeff Badet join a contender in Oklahoma and I hope Ware ends up in a similar situation.
May 4, 20188 yr But that's 2 LB, 1 starter and 1 part-time starter (Eli Brown) to leave since the end of last season. I know Denzil got in trouble a couple of times, but LB Jordan Jones has had many more issues and he's still here. Makes you wonder if there is more to all this. Again, I have no idea.
May 7, 20188 yr Also 2 years in a row for a high profile grad transfer. (Badet) Who was Denzil Ware's roommate when he was at UK. Just an odd fact to add.
May 9, 20188 yr UK just got a LB coach. Stoops was all over this guy abothow good he was/is. If so why couldnt this guy keep him.
May 9, 20188 yr UK just got a LB coach. Stoops was all over this guy abothow good he was/is. If so why couldnt this guy keep him. Maybe Ware is taking the opportunity to play his final season for a team that has a realistic shot of winning more than 6 games ?
May 10, 20188 yr Maybe Ware can't stand the rigors and demands of a former NFL LB Coach like UK has now.
