I would by that if the non funding of the retirement plans had just happened in the last few years. Its happened for almost 2 decades......DECADES.... and those on the plans sat on their hands and did nothing. Now that someone is trying to address the situation (that they allowed to happen) its a big issue.

My issue with it is that "the educational personnel as a whole" sat and let it happen, knowing the current education commissioner at the time was allowing it, and even approved it in committee hearings, and nothing happened because of it.

 

Sure it started as a 1 year 2 year thing, State will put the money back......but after year 5, 6, no money put back, dont you speak up at that point, dont you do something about it.
