Thursday at Highlands 5:30 pm. Highlands won earlier this season 14-12. It should be a good rematch.

Congrats to both teams in making the championship. I think Conner has a good chance at taking this one. They are very talented and have a good coaching staff!:thumb:

I think this should be a good game also. The themes of the game: will the Birds be able to refocus after playing a very good, exciting and physical game against Dixie last week? Will the fact they have already beaten Conner this season (albeit it only by two points) make it harder to refocus? Will Conner change their regular season game plan to do something different for the Birds? Will the Birds? Was the Birds' win during the season a fluke? Do the Conner players think they should have won the first game and come into the game with a chip on the shoulder? Should they have won the first game?

 

I am really looking forward to this game. Keep the streak going Birds and bring home another Frosh championship. Go Birds!

Will this be a grind em out game? Sounds like from the score of the last game.. the Cougars might have a pretty good defense.

No doubt it should be a good game. Here's a few things to remember from the first game. Will Bardo did not play QB until the last play of the first half. He came in and threw a 40-50 yard TD pass to end the half. After last weeks game I think Will is going to be playing with ALOT of confidence. Look for him to have a great game throwing and don't forget he will tuck the ball and make you pay with his speed. Conner's first TD was on a fumble recovery. Conner didn't move the ball very well on the ground. They were successful throwing the ball on their final possesion.

Go "Babybirds" practice hard, focus on your final Freshman Championship task. Remember your motto from the beginning of the year "Win for Quinn"!!!!

Conner also had two key players out that are back now #44 dockery can play on either side of the line a make you pay for any mistakes

44 played last game and had a few decent plays but nothin the birds cant handle.

I didn't see the game I was told 44 was sick and didn't play in that game. I do agree the Birds do have a very good team, Conner will need to play ihard nose football.

I heard the "babybirds" had a very good spirted practice yesterday. It couldn't have come at a better time. Sounds like they're prepared?
