March 1, 20188 yr My wife spent a year doing genetic research over in Wales, so she bought a Flag of Wales for me to hang out front for St. David's Day (today), which is the official National Holiday of Wales. I've gotta say, their flag is pretty freakin' punk-rock. There aren't too many flags out there in modern-day usage with a dragon on them! Country, state, city...any other entity, for that matter? Which one looks the coolest to you?
March 2, 20188 yr I'm partial to this one for a couple of reasons. 1) 15 Stars and 15 Stripes means it was the official flag when Kentucky entered the union as the 15th state. 2) This is also the flag that was flying at Fort McHenry when the Star Spangled Banner was written, giving this flag the same name.

March 2, 20188 yr Amsterdam -The official city motto is Valor, Resolution, and Mercy. The three X's, saltires (St. Andrew's crosses), are taken to represent these. My first trip abroad was to Amsterdam.
March 2, 20188 yr I don't know, but I'll nominate my home state for ugliest flag. Completely disagree. Love that one.
March 3, 20188 yr A thread about flags... pinch me! Estonia’s flag always stuck out to me because of its sleek colors. But overall favorite has to be Seychelles.
