So are they flat/giving no effort, or are they just so lacking in talent they can't compete? Bad execution makes teams look like their is no effort. However the offense has been horrible all year and with all the injuries on defense. They are going to be horrible. So probably come second half effort could be questioned, but first half it will be because just not that good.

December 17, 20178 yr Author This is painful so far. It isn't going to get any better. Kind of like one of those first round high school playoff games where a one win #4 seed is going against a top-ranked team. Those one win #4 seeds seem to always be flat don't they?
December 17, 20178 yr I just don't know what people expected. Do we say obviuosly the offense just hasn't given any effort all year? Because we can't say the offense looks bad because of effort because they have looked this bad all year on offense. On defense the Bengals are missing half their defense and even some backups. The Bengals defense is a very rule based control your gap defense. So if one guy doesn't do their job it opens up everything. So the defense is going to look bad with half of the defense out and more. I just don't believe you can blame that on effort. Just like last week come second half year it probably will be effort being bad too cause the game is over. However that happens to most teams in blow outs.
