The only people who care are Adults who care way to much about HS sports. If a kid wants to play somewhere else let him.

100% this.

Has nothing to do with academics and they never moved so not clearing is the right thing to do. I wish they would do it more often and maybe a lot of this would go away and make it an even playing field.

Do they just flip a coin? Just saying... They let Martin play at Highlands last and she never moved. Why not Macke?

Buy mommy and daddy are the ones making the decisions!

Is Holy Cross contesting the transfer of Macke? Did Notre Dame can test the transfer of Martin? We need to know the answers to those questions to compare the situations.

Macke posted a video on Facebook saying her kids where bullied at HC when they went there.

Is she is saying that to help make the case for the transfer?

Does it matter if the sending school contests it? I was told that doesn't matter any more. I never did understand how Martin was allowed to play.

Correct. It does not matter.

100% this.

I agree only if it's done fairly, because when kids transfer to schools it doesn't make it an even playing field for others who are doing the right thing. For example and I am not saying it wasn't done fairly it probably was but the girl who transferred from Scott to Campbell just made them so much better and again not saying it wasn't done the right way. In a lot of cases its not done right and others schools suffer for it, this isn't college. I think in the case of the Macke's the state got this one right if they hold to it.

That's fine if people feel that way. My thought is they're kids. It's high school sports, it doesn't matter. Let them play wherever they want.

For goodness sakes, it's high school sports. Who cares? The whole ordeal of having to sit out a year in high school is just absurd.

That's the problem no loyalty.

Loyalty? We're talking about high school sports here. If a kid wants to go to and play sports at school, XYZ, they should be allowed to.

So your ok with a kid transferring to 3 different schools in 4 years with no repercussion?

Yes. If that's what they want to do to, I see no issue with it. Adults place way too much importance on high school sports IMO.

Your entitled to your opinion and I respect that. IMO you teach our generation to run when things get tough or you don't get your way.

If we continue to let this happen then most high school coaches will start recruiting, some do already is that what we want. I believe that's mostly why the rule although has a lot of grey area is in place.

I feel for the boy or girl who has been in the program the whole time to have someone transfer in and take their playing time away.
