I know the competition hasn't been great, but I think Kentucky has looked much better the last two games.

These games that UK has been playing are what this team needs...a chance to develop as a "Team" before things get much tougher come later in Dec. on into what will be a very good SEC schedule.. The Cats out rebounded UIC, that's the first stat along w / defense, turnovers. When a team wins in those dept.'s then they usually win the game.

Seven Kentucky players scored in double figures in one of the most balanced offensive showings of the season. Knox with 25, Diallo had 19 points, Washington added 17 and Gilgeous-Alexander had 14.

Another week before the next game and just two games in the next two weeks will give time to work/study towards finals plus leading into Christmas break ...where there's no limit on practice time or number of practices ...the team will basically live at Coach Cal's home, in his basement and at the practice facility.

CAL does a nice job with these glorified scrimmages. Now he has 4 weeks to turn these kittens into Cats.

Take care of business as you should against teams like this. Cal is going to be loving the opportunity to have multiples days of practice strung together. Next game isn't until Saturday.

Probably the best full game the Cats have played all year, they're slowly starting to turn from Kittens into Cats.
