This. Exactly. The schedules aren’t even close in terms of strength of opponent. No one - that I’ve seen - is in any way disrespecting the impressive run CVille has had the last three weeks, but there’s really no comparison to be made.

 

Agreed... Safe travels to those coming to Campbellsville from Ft Mitchell.. It will be a Great environment to watch Friday Night Football..

I think that Crittenden County win over Russellville was definitely an upset. Russellville was in the 1A top 10 most of the year and played a tougher schedule than Crittenden County. Heading into that Crittenden County game, Russellville was 6-2 with their two losses 21-13 at Glasgow, who is still playing, and 28-21 to Logan County, who was undefeated till losing last week.

Weather will not be a factor in this weekend's games. Clean fields favor the more talented, diversified teams. Beechwood will roll.

Down on Main Street, 1/2 mile from the stadium, there is a place called “Brothers”... OUTSTANDING place to eat.. and of course there’s Druther’s on the corner.. Or out by the shopping center is Garcia’s Mexican restaurant or Colton’s Steakhouse.. several places to choose from...

I love Game Day mornings!!!!!! Always have that nervous feeling in your gut. I fully expect my Tigers to come out ready and prepared. This year’s team has been such a pleasure to watch!!!!! Can’t wait to start my trip to Campbellsville where I get to watch these Tigers battle for the right to represent Northern Kentucky in a State Championship Game at Kroger Field!!!!!! #WeAreBeechwood #LoveThemBoys

Which way will you all be coming from? I'm guessing down 75 to Lex; hop on the BG Parkway for a bit then getting off on HWY 55 which will take you into Springfield, Lebanon and then on into Campbellsville.

 

If so; that side of town just has a lot of fast food restaurants and this country cooking buffet style place called "Creekside" (which is very good I might add).

 

Sport of Kings mentioned some places that are solid, but those are somewhat on the other end of town (pass the school and head back north) except for Brother's BBQ. I'd maybe suggest stopping in Lebanon (Marion County; home of Maker's Mark) & they have some really cool spots downtown which you will have to go through as is if coming from that way (Chaser's, Blue's on Tap, County Seat, Hennings, Los Mariachi's, etc).

Yes we will be coming through Lexington. I am meeting family in Georgetown Ky and we are heading down from there. Thanks for the suggestions by you and @SportofKings. We plan on starting from Georgetown around 4 so will be in town around 5:30 or 6 so we can eat and head over afterwards. Looking forward to a great game tonight!!!!

What are those roads like from the Bluegrass Parkway through Springfield, Lebanon, etc.? Are they two lane roads? Are there a lot of traffic lights? I am debating on whether to drive the extra miles on expressway and go through Louisville to 65 south and then cut over to Campbellsville. It looks a little longer but probably faster from northern Kentucky.
