Great season by Ludlow a little higher scoring than I thought on both sides but I figured Holy Cross could limit Blackburn tonight!!! What an amazing high school career for Blackburn!!!!!

Holy Cross should have some serious props for shutting down Justin Blackburn and the Panthers on a heck of a solid run. No disrespect intended to Holy Cross whatsoever, but I sure wish I could have watched Justin continue his season for another week or two...or three.

I do think after Beechwood man handled them they really weren't the same team after that.

Agree...but man do I love when a small program like Ludlow has success like they saw this year. I've had numerous friends who came out of the Ludlow community and/or had relatives come out of the Ludlow community, and they have to work incredibly hard for every single inch of the cred they get on the football field. I love seeing the Panthers have a strong program, and there's no denying that northern Kentucky football is better when Ludlow has a better team.

I love the underdog story. The Logan County team is an inspiration from what they've gone through.

 

I was hoping like you know what that Phelps beat Lynn Camp to get their first ever playoff victory.

Congrats to Ludlow on a great season. Best record since the 2004 team went 8 and 3 too.

 

Big congrats and thanks to Justin Blackburn. He helped bring an excitement back to the program the last 4 years. Has to be one of the top 5 players to ever play at Ludlow. If i heard correctly he broke the school career rushing record tonight. If i had to guess Jim Lokesak use to have the record. So that is a huge accomplishment. Best of luck to Blackburn after high school!

Great season by the Panthers this season. Tonight they got behind early due to a blocked punt inside the 20 and a snap over the punters head in the next possession. Down 14 to 0 early in the 1st qtr. Ludlow continued to fight and cut the lead to 23 to 21. It was a good game. Congratulations to the Panthers for an excellent season and to Justin Blackburn for an outstanding season and career. He is certainly fun to watch.
