I do agree with what you said, especially the part where you agreed with what I said, but also, the fact that they do seem to be making alot of arm tackles, which I feel has to do with them struggling laterally, not being able to get a shoulder on a guy and drive him back by rolling their hips...[/quote

That is true, the arm tackles are also contributed to the fact that they are standing flat footed and when a player makes a cut the SK defense is just simply trying to grab him rather than get in front of him and make the tackle (this could also be from the lack of lateral speed:thumb: ).

Or a lack of heart...

I don't know if that is the case or not, but it definately does not look like a defense that is being controlled by coach Herbst. I wonder if coach Marksberry has taken back control of some aspects or not?

That'd be for the worst... IMO

Is Brent Bishop playing this game? They took him out on a stretcher in the game against Campbell County last week.

Ryle wins big and SK is elimanated from the playoffs.

As far as I know he is. That was primarily just a precaution because he was temporarily knocked out. He was fine and I believe he is playing.

Thanks for the update:thumb:

All or nothing for SK.

Agreed, I think SK comes to play. In the end Ryle pulls out the W.

Why would that be exactly, he ran it from 2000 and 2004 and had great success? They went 5-0 in 2000 giving up about 28 points in those 5 games and shut out powerhouse boone co. and only gave up about 50 points to all the 4a schools in 2001.

Herspt was brought in to run the D. Let him run it.

It seems to me like he does run the D. The coaches can't go out and play the game for the kids. It looks different because different adjustments have to be made for different things, the changes are what you call "good coaching." The coaches can put the players there but they can't make the plays for them.
