The little ring of condensation a cold glass leaves on a table or bar top. If I don't have a coaster to set it on, I will be constantly wiping that ring away every time I pick up the glass. Doesn't matter where I am.

The snack sized ones get torn open and dumped in my mouth all at the same time. Haha

I just got the heeby jeebies reading this.

Counting compulsions. I'm not sure the BGP servers have the capability to handle the post that would ensue should I elaborate.

It would make a B-Ball-Fan post look like a haiku.

I push chairs in when I get up from the lunch room or restraunt. Even though im only responsible for one chair. drives me nuts

The volume level on the radio in my car has to end in an even number.

That one is so stupid, but it is what it is.

I do this to an extent except for the number 5. For example, 20 and 22 are fine but I go ahead and turn 24 on up to 25, and 26 would go back down to 25, etc.

A very small example.

Fives are good. Multiples of five are good. Digital clocks, odometers, mileage signs on the highway having numbers that add up to multiples of five are good. Therefore, when we're traveling west to Louisville on I-64, the first "good mileage sign" including tenths that appears is 43.8 (that's where they start, and the numbers add up to 15; a multiple of 5). Should what is on the odometer when I reach that milepost also add up to a multiple of five, that's exceedingly good.

The mileposts on that stretch of I-64 West start close to the Waddy-Peytona exit and are every two-tenths. So in theory, "good mileposts" are 43.8, 42.4, 41, 40.6, 39.8, 38.4, 37, 36.6, 35.2, 34.8, 33.4, 32, and so on. But what is quite disconcerting is that not all of the mileposts are present, particularly around Shelbyville; so there's a stretch without any good ones. I once lost a transmission near the Shelbyville exit 35.

So there you are.

You people that turn your bills the same way or have to have your volume set on an even number are pikers.

When I do that, the chairs must be evenly distributed and equidistant from the tables.

Otherwise, why bother?

Speaking of fours, any alarm I set has to end with the number four. You should see my alarm page on the iPhone.

My alarm and the second alarm are set to times that add up to multiples of 5 (5:55 and 6:22). I've been retired for nine years, but that's no excuse to stop, even if the alarm isn't turned on.

I once had an impromptu session with David Lanier, a clinical psychologist from Winchester who worked a day a week at our local CMHC back in the day.

The guy had a field day.

I ALWAYS ensure that when ascending or descending a flight of stairs, my right foot hits the top or the bottom. There are MANY places where I have the number of stairs memorized so I know which foot to start out on. In a new place, I can tell with about 6 or 8 steps to go whether I'll be "wrong or right". I adjust accordingly before I reach the top or bottom and as a rule, I'll remember the next time I'm there; even if it is months or years later.

Made going to school at Morehead just a little trickier than it probably needed to be at first.

I do that with the temperature in my car.

Moving from lime to green apple ruined that approach for me.

Green Apple is vastly superior.

I absolutely have to push the top and make it look like this:
