October 22, 20178 yr Ah i did forget about TCU. They do need TCU to lose. Oklahoma had a really bad lost and at home. They would need to do what OSU did and blow a team out in the big 12 championship to get in over a 1 lost Notre Dame team imo. Honestly Clemson resume won't be to great and Notre Dame would have wins over the same best wins Clemson could have in both North Carolina St and Miami. So now that I think about it, i like Notre Dames chances more than Clemsons too. It will be interesting. Notre Dame has to win out though which will be a tough task. Already having them beating Miami @ Miami huh?

We were talking about if Notre Dame goes undefeated the rest of the way, if that basically would be a guarntee to make the playoffs or not. Then even in the last line I said Notre Dame has to win out though which would be a tough task. So not sure where you got that from.

That dang triple option by Navy is still tough to get ready for in a week. And with Notre Dame being a running team too. That game will be a quick game with the clock hardly ever stopping with both teams running so much. So even just one or two turnovers could make a huge impact on that game.

They aren't a top 4 team but they can beat any of the other top 10 teams on a given night.

ND did exactly what they should have done; beat an overhyped nice looking car with a dud for an engine team that gets the benefit of the doubt every year because they are SC.

I think ND is a very good team; when I said overhyped I was talking about SC. I think ND will need some help to make the playoffs even if they do win out. You were right earlier when you said that the lack of conf championship game will hurt them. I don't think they would get in over a one loss conf champ. Although ND does have a big and influential following.
