If Notre Dame wins out, they aren't going to put two teams from the same conference in over them. If Notre Dame wins out, whoever wins the sec will be in it. Whoever wins the big 10 will be in it. Clemson most likely still if they win out will be in it. If Notre Dame wins out, they will be in over even a 1 lost Oklahoma from the big 12 imo.

Putting them in over Oklahoma is tough. I'd have to see how both teams look the rest of the year though. But I don't see them taking a 1 loss Notre Dame over a 1 loss Oklahoma. The Baker Mayfield factor alone might be too much to overcome. TCU is still undefeated though and until they lose I don't think ND controls their own destiny. It would take at least two 2 loss conference champs and ND losing another game before they even consider it.

Oklahoma had a really bad lost and at home. They would need to do what OSU did and blow a team out in the big 12 championship to get in over a 1 lost Notre Dame team imo. Honestly Clemson resume won't be to great and Notre Dame would have wins over the same best wins Clemson could have in both North Carolina St and Miami. So now that I think about it, i like Notre Dames chances more than Clemsons too. It will be interesting. Notre Dame has to win out though which will be a tough task.
