October 21, 20179 yr I gotta be honest - I don't think Florida State is going to go to a bowl this year. They're 2-4. They have a road trip to Clemson, so that's a loss. They have one guaranteed win left on the schedule. So let's call that 3-5. Their only home game left out of the three others is against Syracuse. While I think they win that game, it's not as if Syracuse is incapable. That would also leave road games against Florida and Boston College. They'd have to win all three, right? Or would they be given a pass at 5-6 for having to cancel that one game if they only won two? It just really feels like it's not meant to be this year for them.

October 21, 20179 yr Big win for Cards and Lamar. Jackson over 300 yards of offense. D did a good job for 3 quarters. Williams comes back from ACL injury. Not sure he is 100%, though he had a solid run for TD. Bonnafon contributes. This is helps the football team and and probably the entire athletics department.

October 21, 20179 yr I guess I hope they still find a way into a bowl just because of how much more the embarrassment would be compounded and how much further they'd fall behind Clemson in the ACC. But still, a lot of FSU fans have been banging the drum on the coaching for a few years, particularly the O-Line. I'm a broken record on that on here at times, but it continues to be an issue. The defense still doesn't seem to be where they should be based on talent level, but they aren't the problem today. They "held" Louisville to 31 points and forced a defensive score.

I get the roughing call, but man, FSU has had very little luck at all when it came to late game situations. That's two losses now in the last ten seconds, both games where they had it seemingly won. They've lost three games by a combined 13 points.

So their late game moments haven't been all bad....
