I'll give my 2 cents. I picked Ashland because I would never pick against them. JC is beatable as is any other team and maybe haven't seen them play not as good as last season. Ashland will have to play lights out and nearly perfect and probably get some help but anything is possible. I've talked with a few kids that play and to a young man have all said they think they win and have been working since last winter to get to this opportunity. Does it happen, we find out in 6 days. Go TOMCATS!!!

Johnson Central by 15-20+.

Ashland has the athletes to make this a game. JC has to contain the big plays and get pressure on Ratliff to prevent huge breakdowns in the secondary. I don't see Ashland having much success on the ground.

 

JC better come ready to play their district rival or they'll be in for a dog fight. But since the famous "Wide Right" game, JC usually handles their business, and this year will do so to the tune of a 3 TD victory.

JC by 14-17. I really feel like JC is at least three touchdowns better than Ashland, however the game being at Putnam Stadium is in Ashland's favor and will be a great atmoshphere, that's probably worth 7 points itself. I still think JC rolls though. Ashland is good enough to beat anyone in 4A not named Johnson Central due to their defense, unfortunately JC has a defense that is capable of shutting Ashland's offense down.

Although I would love to see Ashland get the W, I have to say JC.

WOW!! Game day, and I had to go to the 3rd page to find the thread... District Championship on the line, and this is all we have. I know we have a very little chance at winning this game, but geez... Ashland will play with JC for about a half, then the Eagles start to pour it on. Just hope there are no injuries. Better to lose this game and win the second meeting anyway... IMHOP

Not a lot of hype for this one on here go to the other site for the hype. Ashland is due. Ashland to a player everyone I talked with and that's quit a few Tomcat's think they will win. Gotta stick with my pick and Ashland going to shock some people around the state tonight.

It's gonna be tough sledding for Ashland in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Their best chance might be to give Ratliff a lot of run/pass options. Get him and Ashland's other skill people in space as often as possible. I don't see much success for the Tomcats running right into the teeth of JC's defense with Stalker, Johnson and Co. waiting with open arms.

Ashland will shock the state till the end. JC by 7 in nail biter.
